Project Superintendents Role Role Overview:
Superintendents are an integral part of C&R’s diverse project team and are actively
involved in all phases of Prospecting, Preconstruction, Award to Start, Project Execution
and Completion. As a C&R Superintendent, you will demonstrate effective and open
dialogue with the project team regarding job conditions, architect and subcontractor
relations and any deviation in the project. You strive to maximize efficiency and
productivity by smoothly scheduling, leading, and overseeing team members and subcontractors. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in commercial construction, an innate aptitude in managing people and continuously inspect the
project.
Overview Of Role Description

Collaborate with Preconstruction/Estimating during proposal development.

Supports document review and scope development for subs.

Develop Site Logistics Plan including visibility for marketing.

Perform Job Hazard Analysis.

Familiarize oneself with C&R’s proposal, scope and project budget.

Actively participates in project planning.

Maintain Daily logs and Project Reporting.

Follow up with clients and continue helpful approach until project is awarded.

Prepare schedules, general conditions budget, and site utilization plans.
Qualifications

At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Junior Estimator Role:
As a Junior Estimator, you will learn, grow, and aspire to the role of Estimator. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of construction principles including General
Requirements, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical. We seek a self-starter that is
detail oriented and has a passion for the construction industry. C&R is deeply

Overview Of Role Description

Work with Principal and Project Managers to provide preconstruction services to clients as well as assist with purchasing duties.

Collaborate with clients to develop budgets for Conceptual, Schematic and Design Development drawings.
​

Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time,cost, and labor estimate for projects.
​

Perform portions of estimates for multi-discipline projects including scopedeterminations and accurate quantity survey.
​

Solicit subcontractor and/or vendor quotes and evaluate them for scope, and leadmeetings with Subcontractors to develop complete scopes and discuss strategy.

Perform risk and contract management as required on bids and review total estimate toensure accuracy prior to formal quotation.
​

Monitor comparison of estimated costs to actual costs, research and promotecontinuous improvement in developing more efficient estimating methods.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experiencemay be considered.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction project estimating.

Strong construction and marketplace knowledge of RFPs, RFIs, IDIQs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team for multiple projects and pursuits.
